It is now nearly 20 years since we first started work on what would become our first full-length release of any kind. As a recording, this work is extremely primitive and under-produced, and we have not attempted to correct this as we believe it would ultimately undermine the bleak atmosphere so central to the very essence of one’s being, particularly during that particular period of one’s existence. As we all now collectively face a new chronology, fraught with gloom and teeming despair, I hope this endeavour may serve as the voice of commonality in this time of separation and segregations alike, or at the very least might illicit a chortle from those, the final disciples housed in the swooning belly of Meretseger.
